When storing, place the food in the freezer in the original packaging. To thaw, move the food to the refrigerator and allow it to thaw for 24-36 hours. Once it has thawed, tear open the perforated side of the package and place the food and its broth into a resealable container or re-use the zip lock bag. Use a fork to break up the food into a consistent texture, making sure that the broth is evenly mixed. Food must be served cold, do not re-heat. Follow the feeding guidelines posted on the package, or visit the website feeding calculator. Hands, bowl & surfaces should be washed with hot water & soap. The food should be used within 7 days of thawing.
